Our Rebrand

After years of internal debate, I  have made the decision to change the name of PowerCrush, Inc. to CarlsonCorp, Inc.

The Carlson family started farming in Kings Park in the late 1800’s after having emigrated from Sweden. After quite some time of farming, we moved into the general contracting and building material supplies business. 

Over the next several decades, the Carlson family made numerous contributions to the construction and manufacturing industry on Long Island. 

In the 1950’s, the Carlson family revolutionized human waste disposal with a number of highly innovative inventions that were manufactured right here in Kings Park and who’s patented plans were used throughout the world. 

Our new logo is a throwback to the original Carlson Precast logo from the 1940’s. It was designed to pay tribute to the history of the Carlson family and the impact they have made on all aspects of the construction industry on Long Island. 

As you can now see, changing our name back to Carlson was done to recognize a long history of positive and beneficial family history in Kings Park. A history that started well over 120 years ago. A family business that survived Two World Wars, The Great Depression, The Great Recession and now COVID-19. My family history speaks true about our long-term commitment to the community it serves and most importantly to the wonderful team that makes us great at what we do!

CarlsonCorp will be operating under the same ownership, management, and staff. Our operations, products, services, and place of business will remain unchanged.
